In October of 2018, Darren Palmer collaborated with Australian wide builders G.J. Gardner Homes to create Tailored: Inspired Home Collection. The collaboration consists of six diverse and complete tailored interior schemes and facades designed by Darren Palmer. These luxury homes combine superior craftsmanship and luxury designs at a super-affordable price. Darren worked on all aspects including the colour palettes, tiles, flooring, kitchen, bathroom hardware and cupboard finishes to reflect each of the six designs. The beauty of this project is that you can have your tailored dream home complete from the interior to the exterior, but still be able to make it your own.

“My design ethos is to make good design accessible for everybody and I’m so excited to have designed a collection that is not only beautiful, but also achievable and accessible for people no matter their budget or where they live in Australia.”

Here are Darren Palmer’s six designs for his G.J. Gardner Tailored: Inspired Home Collection.

A fresh, bright, style that would be right at home from Byron to Bondi, Beach is the integration of colour and texture only nature inspires. It features a neutral colour palette of oak, white and grey.

Contemporary Australian references the Australian landscape colour palette featuring spotted gum timber floors, walnut and eucalypt and grey and white stone effect tiles.

The latest evolution of Scandi, Japandi incorporates the essence of the core style, with a twist of Japanese design including asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, economy and appreciation of the ingenuous integrity of natural objects and processes.

The Hamptons is fully in tune with our white, bright landscape and indoor/outdoor living style. The colour palette features white on walls and grey timber floors, carpets and benchtops and the tapware and door handles are traditional.

Hotel Luxe features finishes such as limestone-like floors, a soft metallic kitchen splashback, speckled overhead kitchen cabinets and champagne coloured tapware.

Urban style is minimalistic, clutter free and open plan. The Urban Modern design features a white, grey and black colour palette, with white walls and cement-look floor tiles and benchtops.
